Must say I am loving creating in my Art Journal a lot lately, so much fun!

This is a great set of images based around Ripley and Aliens - can't you just see those Aliens popping up everywhere for Halloween!

Ok, so coloured with my copic markers and gel pens.
Background using my Gelli Plate, paints, stencils, inks and stamps.
That awesome saying is from a Jaded Blossom stamp set and I've used my Black Aquarellable pencil around it.

New Release - Steampunk Sally IMG380

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for New Releases.

I am using Steampunk Sally IMG380.

What a sweetie! and how cute to have a pet Octopus!!!

Coloured with copic markers.
I created my Journal Page background using my Gelli Plate with assorted paints and stencils.
I then added some stamps using Impress Jet Black ink.
The Halloween Sentiment comes with Sally so it was just perfect to use.
I think Sally and her Octopus pet could be used for any project really, very cute.

Oddball New Release in the Making Cards Magazine October

Hello Oddballs

It´s me; Tina. I'm so excited...

Today I can finally tell you about my first publication in "Making Cards Magazine"

I chose Oddball's pictures,

what Lizzy has drawn especially for me.

"Sneek Peak"

The topics I have chosen by myself are Halloween and Steampunk

First, I introduce you to the Halloween cards.

(Attention: flood of images)

The coffin card

Here I designed the background with Brusho Colors and

a silver spider net stamped in silver.

The image is colored with polychromos

Again, I used Brusho Colors for the background and 

then structurecream applied with an stencil.

This background has also been created with Brusho Colors on Glossy Paper and

then I sprayed black ink spray over it.

Now go to my Steampunk cards

Dark Danger Card

Here I have glued aluminum tape to cardboard,

it is embossed and dyed with alcohol inks.

I colored the image on kraft paper.

I find that looks particularly interesting.

The edges and letters were painted a bit with rust paint

Bright Danger Card 

For this background, I used a design paper from La Blanche.

This image is colored with polychromos

August Release Inspiration from Jennifer!

Good morning Oddballs! Jennifer here, and I'm so excited to have my day to share some inspiration using the latest August 2017 release image from Oddball Art Stamps!

Here is my card for today, featuring the FANTASTIC Tabitha the Wart Hoarder, No. 396. This image is so much fun. I LOVEEEE Halloween, it's my favorite holiday and Lizzy's witchy images are the best around! I made her bold and sassy, because she deserve it! ;)

I have colored the image with lots of Copics, drew a base to ground her and added a few shadows too. The enamel dots and googly eye are from my stash drawer, die from Gina Marie.

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for New Releases.

I am using the New Release Bookworm IMG395

Another uber cute owl and what an awesome sentiment to go with her!!!!!

I coloured her with Neon copic markers and then decided to step out of my comfort zone....deep breath! and create a canvas piece!

I like her a lot!
I used Gesso over a newsprint patterned paper (just a few spots peeking out) to give an added interest.
Various paints used along with Distress Oxide inks on the background of the Owl and the doily.
Still learning with this oxide ink but am happy with my effort so far.
I also used a few various stencils for my canvas background.

I have made another Art Journal Page using Carly Marley IMG385 a&b.

I love how it turned out and have to tell you that I am thankful that the pains I suffer aren't that chronic that the only way to ease it is in the form of Medical Marijuana.
I also hate that there is such a stigma around it for those who's need is genuine. Clearly it's by people that are lucky not to experience pain no more than a headache!

New Release - Ginny The Gardener IMG386

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for New Releases.

I am using Ginny the Gardener IMG386.

I decided to go ahead with a Journal Page with her this time.

Ginny is coloured with Copic Markers and then the area around her I have used Distress Oxide Inks.
LOL, I applied them using a cotton bud (Q-Tip) which is a bit unorthodox, but hey, it's how I roll!

Added some sprays of water and quite happy with the outcome.
Used my Geli Plate with a variety of paints and stencils to create my page background.
Memento Jet Black ink and various stamps used to add a bit of interest and some hand doodling with black gel pen......LOL, yes, that does need some working on.

New Release - Cinda As A Unicorn IMG384

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for New Releases.

I am using Cinda As A Unicorn IMG384A&B.
IMG384A is first with her Neon Unicorn Horn and Unicorn Poop , just to be different!

And with IMG384B, I thought I'd do one for our Africana sisters - hoping I did ok, and promise to improve!

Love them both, but my favourite is my Africana Cinda - will definitely have to start doing some more.
Both cards are very simple in designs and images coloured with my Copic Markers.
Papers used are from Prima Marketing and both are from the Time Traveller's Memories Range.

I hope you have been inspired, and I look forward to seeing how creative you can be with your Cinda Unicorn. Don't forget to pop them in the Blog Challenge so I get to see them and comment.

New Release - Creative Planner Inserts

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with an Inspiration Post for Oddball Stamp Co's New Releases.

I am using the Creative Planner Inserts set.
You would have already seen my Veggie Veronica (IMG182) Planner page for December.
In case you didn't, here she is again.

But did you know you also get a Password Log page too!!
To start off I have used the header along with the Doodle Collage IMG107 to create my Cover page, and printed off the Password Log page.
Now I have created my Planner by printing in A5, but you can print Letter size / A4 if you choose.

I coloured up the images on collage using my Copic Markers.

How good does that look! Yep, great for the household accounts.

Now for my Crafty sites, I decided I needed to be a bit more crafty!
So again I used the Header to start my Cover page. I added 3 Suns with Faces from IMG313B and coloured with my Copic Markers, same with my Password Log sign.
As a Bonus, you get Jaz with your inserts (How cool is that!).
Again Coloured with Copic Markers, cut out with my Scan N Cut (because I hate Fussy Cutting!).
Before I glued my Jazzie in place, I grabed some inks and stamps from my stash and had a little creative moment.
Now my final process before punching the holes to put it in my Planner, was to laminate it with a another Password Log page behind it. This is to give it protection from the elements and also so I can reuse the same page over and over like a message board.

Here you can see my Password Log written on with a Sharpie - this is perfect as it is permanent until I decide to change the password, delete the account.
Easy to do, just grab a tissue and some StazOn Cleaner (or an Alcohol wipe), give a quick wipe over and clean - good as new!

How happy does Sweet Jaz look now that her Passwords are in order!

New Release - Baby Elephant Kisses with Suzi

Today it's my pleasure to share with you my project featuring the gorgeous Baby Elephant Kisses image #375,

I had a real blast colouring this super cool beauty, with her adorable little elephant.  I used ProMarkers to colour my image with the addition of a little white gel pen for highlights.

I had fun with the textures for the background of this project, using yellow felt, turquoise sequinella and a bright pink wired net ribbon.  To finish it all off I used this gorgeous bright pink picture frame i've been hoarding for a while.

I´ts me again; Tina:

Today i want to show you a new image . I used here: "Nelly & Her Nymphes"

I have printed the sweet Nelly on a little cloud and colored she and their nymphs with Polychromos.

Then I cut a card in the cloud shape from mirror cardstock and put Nelly on it. The little hearts are fastened with a sewing thread.

I hope you like the little Cloud Card and Nelly.
