Every Road Should Have a Path

Hey Oddballs!  Ek here today to share a little bit of coloring with you.

No video today, just a little bit of coloring for fun along with the digital stamp

The digital stamp was colored with my copics and then cut out and added to some printed paper that I distressed with some metallic wax.  Finally, I added a bit of a sentiment from a Tim Holtz sentiment sticker pack.

For more on the making of this card check out my page ekgorman designs.

Party in the Underworld

Hey hey Oddballs! Alexa here! When your theme is all things ghouls & goblins & fairies (oh my), well, you just gotta have some fun! Especially when the uber talented Lizzy Love knows how to create the perfectly creepy cute images.

For today's art journal page, I've used stamps #62 & #82 , this creepy cute fairy & her ghost buddies.

Madhatter on Shirt

Hello Oddballs

Hi, it´s me. Tina.  Today I once tested something special. A dear friend gave me the idea to print / iron an oddball image on my pink T-shirt with transfer foil. I chose this image: "Madhatter"#328.
For this I printed the image on transfer foil and mirrored upside down ironed. I wrote the lettering myself and placed it under the motif.
Use my discount code to get 10% off your next purchase: DTTINA10

I used the Oddball Shop logo for the back side at the neckline

Oh, how I love my shirt ....

 * ðŸ’— *

This time the motif is still black.
But I will test it again in colorized.

See you soon...

Tina

Fay the Fancy Fairy

Hey Oddball Fans,

Do we have a special surprise for you.  Lizzy from Oddball Art Co. still has some of her images available in red rubber and now that her new website is coming along nicely, she has decided to start listing them.  The first one up on the website shop is Fay the Fancy Fairy.  She is the cutest and comes with a sentiment already - https://www.oddballartco.com/product-page/rubber-stamp-fay-the-fancy-fairy

Go to https://www.oddballartco.com/product-page/rubber-stamp-fay-the-fancy-fairy and check out this red rubber stamp.  You will find Lizzy has very limited supplies of these exclusive stamps and when they are gone, they are gone, and guess what, I tried my discount code on the rubber stamp and it works, so you are good for a 10% discount off the price of the red rubber stamp if you use my code

                                                                   DTGAIL10

Take a look at Oddball's new website, it is evolving quite nicely, be sure to sign up for an account, as well as the newsletter (top right corner);  if your name is registered who knows what freebies and specials you may receive once Lizzy has completed the huge task of  creating a new website and transferring her shop over from Etsy.

https://www.oddballartco.com/

There is lots to browse, let your fingers do the walking and check out every nook and cranny and familiarise yourself with the Community tab, which includes the forum with tips and tutorials and the challenge blog is now attached to this website too.

Now the other purpose of introducing Fay the Fancy Fairy is to remind you about our monthly ATC swap.  I have already entered two ATCs into the album, but I have also made a Fay the Fancy Fairy ATC for our May theme, Goblins, Fairies and Ghouls, Oh My!  She will also be going into the album and some lucky participant in this month's swap will receive her - a Special Edition ATC I think we will call her.  So if you haven't put your name down for this month's swap, do it now and you could be the lucky one to receive this special edition ATC.  Go to our Facebook group now and sign up.  You will find the ATC Swap posted in the pinned post and our host this month is Jennifer Greco and she would love to see your name there.  We would love to see some new faces and styles.  ATCs are great fun and if you are strapped for time, you only need to make one to join in the fun.  ATCs are fun all the time, no matter what the present craze is, you can't go past the fun in receiving an envelope from who knows where - Canada, America, Australia, Sweden, Germany Finland - I could go on - anywhere in the world - and the friendships you form from one little rectange 2.5" x 3.5" are AMAZING to say the least.

Have I convinced you yet to take the plunge, here is the link  to join our group

https://www.facebook.com/groups/OddballArtStamps/

and if you are already a member of our group, here is the link direct to this month's swap

See you next post and remember Fay the Fancy Fairy is not available as a digi, only red rubber and stocks of each rubber stamp Lizzy lists on the website will be limited.

Don´t be afraid :)

Hello Oddball's

Today I'll show you a step by step tutorial on how to create a great background with a slide :)

I use the image: Creepy Cute Skeleton Bats & Girl Dancing in the Dark no.331

Step 1

I took glossy photo paper and normal cling film.
With water, I spray it generously in a small pump spray bottle, it must not be too small and dry.

 Step 2

For this project I have chosen metal paint colors. One can also take others like watercolors, inks or acrylics.
Apply with a brush in different shades.

 Step 3

Now put the cut film on.

 Step 4

Now you can crumple the foil with your fingers at will.
I've used a Distress wiper this time. This I have raised in the middle and then in the clockwise direction. The film goes with it and it creates a great effect. It works well with an eraser :)

 Step 5

Everything has to dry well, preferably 24 hours or more depending on which color you have taken, you can test it at the corners if it has dried.
When everything is dry the film is easy to peel off.

 Finish

I hope you liked the step by step tutorial :)
