I love you more than coffee... well, sometimes

Hi Oddballs!

I really do love my coffee, especially in the mornings and I guess that Fran does too. So today have a made a card with img 154 frazzled Fran needs her coffee.

I have made it into a shaker card and filled it with real coffeebeans and golden stars.

On the inside of the card can you see the shaker part too, and a take away cup and some beans.

I really hoped you got inspired to use this fun stamp too!
Hope to see you all soon.

Whimsical Halloween Decor

Hello everyone! Welcome to my very first post as a design team member for Oddball Art Stamps! Today I have a fun project to share with all of you.

Every month, OddBall hosts a new blog challenge with a specific theme. This month it was all about Naughty Gnomes. For my project, I decided to create a fun, whimsical halloween decor. I had a coffin shaped shadow box , with a thin enough wood that I as able to pierce some hole in the back of it. I printed my main image #432 Little Whimsical Toadstool House #2 on vellum paper and colored it using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers (making sure I colored the back of the image). I used the coffin to trace the shape on my vellum paper , cut the shape and then glued it to the front of my coffin shadow box. Added some sequins trim and fun halloween embellishments and my main design is done!

I love the #461 Cute Gnomes Rolling With My Gnomies digital stamp set! The cute faces and individual personalities , paired with a fun sentiment, makes for an extra adorable craft project. I wanted everything to be cohesive,  and printed the gnomes on vellum paper and followed the same steps as the coffin shadow box, only this time using a small 5x5 embroidery hoop. Once both my projects were finished, i was able to add some pretty halloween lights to the back of the coffin and now i have a fun light up piece!

I had so much fun creating these pieces , and I hope it inspires you to create something today!

Naughty Gnomes Challenge Reminder

Hey Oddballs!  It's EK here wondering if you have you played along yet with the current challenge over at Oddball Art!  You can play along all month long with their Naughty Gnomes theme!

EK Gorman, Oddball Art a

Today I have combined two different Oddball digis to create this naughty gnome card!  I used the new digi IMG461 Rollin' with My Gnomies and the background digi IMG379 City of Love.

Make sure you go over and play along with the challenge.  Things always end up being fun here in the Oddball camp!

Playing with Textures with #236

Hi Everyone, its Penny here from  Buschcreations. Im very happy to be part of the OddBall team and to have a chance to share my projects with you.

I had such a good time playing with textures on this card.   I got some stencils and stencil brushes out and moved the stencil slightly between colours to get a textured brick look, I then remembered I had some grit paste that I hadn't tried, this stuff ended up looking like grout or concrete.  Im going to try adding colour to it next time.

I coloured the image with copics and once I was all done, I protected the image and flicked on some paint with graphite paint pens.
