Dying to Be Yours

Hey Oddballs!  EK here from ekgorman designs to share a card for Oddball Art February Challenge.  If you aren't aware the February challenge's theme is "Cute or Die", which lets be honest, is so much fun for all of us anti-valentine kiddos.  

So what did I make...a anti-valentine that is 'dying to be yours'!

Today, I pulled out the digital stamp IMG367, Undead Leni.  I think Leni here is suppose to be a zombie, but I went with a much more realistic look with my coloring (with the exception of her purple eyes).  I pulled out my prisma colored pencils and went to work.

I love the idea of a scarred up gal being at the center of a 'valentine's' card.  

Make sure you get crafting, and get your projects linked up to the February Challenge.  You have till the end of the month to link up your designs, and of course you can load up to three different projects!

Cute Valentines

Hey Oddballs! Instead of purchasing boxes of valentines make your own. There are so many stamps that would be great for creating unique valentines for friends and family.  Here is a little inspiration for creating valentines with Oddball Stamps.

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for our Blog Challenge (Always Anything Goes with an Optional Theme - this month's being Cute or Die )

I have used Sunny Bunny IMG200

Coloured with Copic Markers.
My card mat background is two co-coordinating rolls of washi tape.
I used Brea Reese Gold watercolor ink and Tim Holtz stencil to create my sunrays.
I think it's definately on the Cute side for this month's challenge.

Rancid Rabbits

Tina here: I´m back again with a New Release Image: Rancid Rabbits #426. (Soon in the store available)

This time I did not create a card, but painted on a 40 x 50cm stretcher frame. For this I primed the canvas first white and then transfer the image carefully with carbon paper. This time i colored with watercolors. 

That's really creepy right?

Haunted Hearts

It´s me, Tina: Today I brought you a brand new image of Lizzy:  Haunted Hearts #427

I have processed it in a heart card with special technique and colored with Polychromos. 

From the outside you can only see the quote that belongs to the image. The cover sheet is divided in the middle and can be pushed upwards to both sides. Now a sweet girl comes to the fore. If you go the other side away,  you see another girl; but rather creepy. But look at it yourself...

This image also fits perfectly with our ATC Swap in the Facebook group and 

of course to our current blog challenge.

February ATC Swap - Theme "Cute or Die"

Hi Oddballs - Angie here with this month's ATC Swap, and our Theme Is "Cute or Die".

Here are the 3 that I will be swapping out within the swap group.

I have used Love Sick Heidi IMG280

I have used Don't mess with Beany IMG161

 I have used Zombie Panda IMG32

The guidelines are pretty simple......

You must be a member of our Facebook Page.

You can make 1, up to 3 ATC's to swap (your choice). 

It is an International swap, so you could be posting your ATC overseas from you.

You must use an Oddball Art Stamps image.

You must follow the theme of the month but can interpret it any way you desire.

ATC's are 3 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches.

Please try not to have anything over hanging the edges, as most people file these in an album.

Ok so, you have from now until the 23rd of February to get your name down and picture of your ATC in the album over at the Facebook page. 

I look forward to seeing all your fab ATC's!

Oddball Art Stamps February 2018 Blog Challenge | Cute or Die!

HELLO ODDBALLS!

It's Time for the February 2018 Oddball Blog Challenge!

Be sure to visit our WINNERS POST to see if you're the winner of the January Challenge!

We will have monthly blog challenges that run from the 1st to the end of the month. 
You have until the end of  February to submit your entries (Yes! you can enter up to 3 times as always)
You may link to your Facebook or Instagram posts to enter the challenge if you don't have a blog. Just needs to be a NEW post.

Now for our brand new challenge.

 Just as in previous months we will have a theme BUT it's optional so you can enter our challenge using any stamp with any theme but if you do decide to follow our theme,

"Cute or Die"

and are chosen as one of our winners.......

1 Grand Prize Winner if less then 15 entries and

a TOP 3 too if more then 15 entries!

We have a few simple rules for you to follow if you want to play along in our challenge:

1. We have a monthly theme but it's optional (if you are chosen as our winner AND you have followed the theme for that month you will win 1 extra stamp)
2. Please mention and link back to our challenge on your personal blogs/galleries
3. Creations must be NEW, no backlinking
4. Limit of 3 entries per person
NOTE regarding Top 3: we only have a Top 3 if we have AT LEAST 15 entries minimum into our challenge. We had 32 entries last month..would love to see even more this month! So, don't forget to tell your friends about our challenge and encourage them to come play along!!
