Today I made a shallow box frame in brown card with my Cricut to contain the image.
The background I used is from We are 3 Seaside Collage printed twice and used as a full and partial layer.

I printed the images and coloured them with Copics, adding them to the base layer. I added parts of the second layer with dimensionals.

Happy Mother's Day!

Hello everyone!

Eny here, with two sweet cards I designed using using OddBall images #537 No Drama Llama Cute and Snarky, and #456 Cute Little Fuzzy Birds Shit Happens . I wanted to make something simple to celebrate mother's day and these images were perfect for such an occasion.  Proving, that you can truly "alter" any stamp to fit your needs.

For the Drama Llama image, I used InkScape to invert the Llama , resize and position the images to create a cuddly scene. Our feathered friends were already the perfect size, so I only had to position them closer to each other.
I have a very simple pictorial to share with you, that hopefully will inspire you to dig up some stamps, or get some new ones, to create some fun cards!

I first print and color all images, using ArtNFly Colored Pencils

On a white smooth cardstock i use two stencils to create my background. I first use Paige Taylor Evans heart stencil with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick. I then layer on top of that a cloud stencil i made, using Distress Inks Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar. I trim down the cardstock to be a standard A2 size card (4.25 x 5.50)

I use a the largest of a Scalloped Oval die set i have, to cut two solid colored cardstock. These will be the base for my images.

I fussy cut both images and then layer on top of my die cuts, using foam adhesive.

You can use a sentiment from any other stamp set you own, or create one on your computer using nay program like Microsoft Word. This one in particular is from Crafters Companion.

Add details and dimension with some enamel accents, and your card is ready for a new home.

I hope you and yours are doing well during this time. This Mothers Day is surely a very different one. I know many are also without their mothers and it can be a very difficult day. I hope that you can find peace of mind and heart, by pouring your soul in to whatever brings you happiness.

Happy Crafting,

I am quite fond of the never ending card idea - you may remember my prior makes:

Well a friend of mine said she had made a 12" by 12" version - I am always up for a challenge!!
Today I am just going to show you the first page...

I started with two pieces of 12" by 12" to make the base. First I cut them into four strips 12" by 6". I scored each strip at 3" and 9" and folded the score lines well both ways.

Unfortunately my stocks are getting low so I used two toning colours of paper, rather than two the same. Using two pieces I marked half way across the end sections.

I added glue into the top corners.

I placed the other strips on at rightangles, and left the card base to dry well.

This is the first page - I added lovely paper to it from Crafterschoice Minerals Cardstock paper pad.

I then coloured my images with Copics and cut them out.

I decided they needed a black background  to make them stand out a little more.

Then I added the sentiment - trimmed and faux stitched around the edge with an orange fineliner

And the punchline!!

Happy Crafting!

Keep calm and wear the damn mask!

Hello!

Today I show you this card that I have made for the DT of Oddball Art Stamps with the img# 93 Digi Stamp Big Eyes Chibi Girl With SpeechBubble

It is a small wake-up call to all those who begin to go outside after all these weeks of confinement. A reminder that if we all take precautions and follow the rules (no matter how healthy we are or how smart we think we are), we will avoid being locked up for another 8 weeks!

It is very simple and fast to do and does not need much explanation.
To start you must print the digital stamp but, in my case, I first went through an image editing program to add the message to the text bubble.

Then I printed and colored it with my Finecolors.

Finally I trimmed the edges so that the doll was centered and glued it to a black cardboard base to highlight it.

Lastly, I glued the card to the white cardboard base.

As you can see it is very easy and fast. It has no mystery.

I hope you like it, it inspires you to carry out your own projects and share them with the hashtag #creepycutechronicles. I remind you that you have at your disposal the discount code DTIRENE10 for your purchases in the Oddball store.

See you!

Fairy Magic- Image #70

Hello there lovelies!
Monica here with a quick post to share a card I made using one of my hidden gems from the Big Eyed Girls Collection from Oddball Stamps. I love all mythical creatures and fairies are some of my favorite, especially when they are big eyed beauties like Image#70 Fairy Girl Delhia.

I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and added details with Prismacolor pencils. Used a DIY cloud stencil to create a background using Distress Oxide inks.
I layered a foiled designer paper to the card base and matted the image with a lavender paper. I added sparkle to her wings and a few rhinestone flowers to match the sentiment.

On to my project for the week 😊
Today I decided to create two different cards using these images. For my first card I combined the cute pills with Image 412- Jenny Has The Cure.
  • I colored the images with Spectum Noir alcohol markers
  • Using Distress inks I created a background using the smooshing technique
  • I added color to surround Jenny
  • I decided to make the little pills into shakers (my personal favorite)
  • Once all my components were ready i put the card together by layering the inked panel to the card base
  • I added a strip of sparkly trim from spellbinders to the edge. Then I mounted Jenny on to foam tape on top of it and arranged the pills in front of her and under the sentiment.

For my second card I am using the Virus from This month's Premium image and sentiment from Image 412- Jenny Has The Cure  and this week's premium image skull band aid and pills.
  • for this card I colored the images with alcohol markers again
  • I decided to make it as simple as I could, layered a strip of fabric washi across the panel and a journaling size piece of pattern paper.
  • I then layered all the images on top, used foam tape to pop the pills and added some enamel dots to the top and bottom.
