March Challenge Winners

I want to start by thanking everyone who came out to participate in our March Challenge, we really enjoyed all of your craftiness!

As you may remember we had a bit of a twist with our March challenge, we told you to invite a friend and if one of you wins, you both win the same prize!

We also needed more then 15 entries to unlock those Top 3 prizes and we had 26 yay!

So here we go.....

Congratulations to our GRAND PRIZE winner...

3.

All of our winners today have won gift cards for the Oddball Stamp Shop in varying denominations, you can find the list of prizes in the right side bar.

We hope you will proudly display our winners badge on your blogs, also found in the right sidebar.

Now for that little twist offering double the prizes....I truly had expected to be handing out 8 prizes today so paint me surprised when only one of our winners has taken advantage of that opportunity!

So I would also like to congratulate Susan's friend Wendy who has also qualified for the equivalent TOP 3 prize!

CONGRATULATIONS WENDY!

Please contact myself Lizzy Love to claim your prizes no later then April 30th

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to play in our challenge this month, we loved browsing your beautiful projects and visiting your blogs and the like!

Before I get out of here I just wanted to update you on a couple of things.....

YOU DON'T NEED A BLOG TO ENTER OUR CHALLENGES
1. This came to mind when browsing thru our entries and I thought it might be a good idea to remind everyone that our challenges no longer, and haven't for a while,  require you to have a blog, I realize most do so I just wanted to point that out again..... You can upload your project to Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Imgur or anywhere else on the net that allows you to upload images and produce a link to enter in our link up.  Of course we do LOVE browsing your blogs and I will forever love the art of blogging but we hope this helps to encourage more participation and fun!

EXTRA BIGGER GRAND PRIZE IN APRIL
2. We had a lot of fun offering the twist on the prizes this month and have decided to do that again in April, however we have changed it up a bit.  We would still LOVE it if you invite your friends to enter too but there won't be any extra prizes for doing so....what there will be is a much much bigger grand prize, I don't want to spoil the surprise for when we announce it tomorrow but what I will say is this,
I will have to snail mail it to the winner and its something that a pretty big majority of card makers absolutely LOVE! Come back tomorrow when we post our brand new April Oddball Challenge to see what it is!

Ok now I go!
Enjoy whats left of your weekend and we'll talk tomorrow at the new challenge!

Lizzy xoxo

CCC #46 With Sabrina

Ciao Sabrina is here today with his new CCC # 46  ODDBALL card!
A sweet mummy who enjoys a good coffee!

I printed # 46 on smooth white paper and colored with Copic ... I started coloring with W-5 and E00 and I faded with E40 and W-0

I then created dots using C5 and a white gel pen

Now I can color the nice cup using the Copic:
R27
E15
BG13
and I created the light reflected with the white gel pen

Our mummy is sitting, so I created the LOL support ... to create the terrain I used
E21
E33
YR21
E15 and white gel pen

For the eyes I used BG13 e B91, blended with the blender

With the technical pen I created the jagged edge

I cut a heavy paper for watercolors on which I sprayed coffee-colored spray colors

after which I restored the card with the CCC # 46  ODDBALL  stamp, the patterned cards that I glued crosswise and the cardboard. With the Brother I created the tags with the words "love" Coffee "and" heart "and I used the Nuvo Crystal Drops that create the brilliant effect

I can't wait to see your work with the magnificent ODDBALL stamps !!!

Card Big Eye Hailey Heart Hands

Hi it's Rightbrainart. Today I created a card using Big Eye Hailey Heart Hands image #437. I coloured the image with SpectrumNoir tri blend and Copic markers.

For the gear background I first painted a piece of Strathmore Acrylic paper with Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Antique Bronze. Once it was dry, I embossed it with Sizzix Tim Holtz 3-D Texture Fades embossing folder in Gears pattern using my Big Shot. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Crayon in Pewter to rub over the gears to highlight them. For the sentiment I blended Tim Holtz Distressed Oxides in Antique Linen and Tea Dye.

Card Tutorial with Guest Designer Paula

Hello All,
My name is Paula

This is my first time coloring for Oddball Art Stamps
I colored up

"Digital Stamp Girl & Her Dog Sylvie & Samson Go For A Walk Image No.162"
Here we go......

Then I colored her up with my Copic Markers
(list of Markers are below)
I didn't really like how the grey at the bottom looked
So..

I cut her out with my Brother Scan & Cut
I added some dimensional dots and some red and white twine
as the leashes (I also added a second dog)

and I added more dimensional dots

Then I cut out a 5" x 5" piece of brick paper I had laying around
and glued a piece of 1 1/2" x 5" piece of wood paper .
I thought it looked way to plain...

So I added a bunch of flowers to the left side.

I placed the pieces onto the paper but the flowers looked
like they were just in mid air
So, I added a flower pot that I drew and cut out and I added
an "awning" from my paper stash and cut with a scalloped edge die.

I backed the card with a piece of turquoise paper to make
her hair POP! Lastly, I added it all onto a 5" x 5" white card base.
And that's it! I hope you like my card :)

Copics used:
Skin - E000, E00, E11, E04 R20    Hair - BG45, BG53, BG49   Undershirt - W7
Shirt & Glasses RV55, RV66, RV55   Black & White Dog - 100, W10, C00, B00
Legging - Y18, Y17, Y04   Lips - RV04, RV06   Slippers - W1, W3, W5

It is that time of week again when Oddball Art releases its free weekly free newsletter.  And once again I am playing around with the free digital stamp that is coming out with the Creepy Cute Chronicles.  I however, and trying something a little different today, by creating a 5x7 mixed media canvas using this week's digi.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC45 a

I also whipped a quick video sharing how this whole canvas came together.

Thanks for popping in today and checking this out.  I hope you enjoyed
