Rainbows Follow Bad Weather

 Hi crafty ghouls,

I don't know what the weather is like in your country, but in Belgium it is a different season every day. Last week we had 20 degrees on Monday, rain on Wednesday, snow on Friday (I really want to put away my winter clothes), but one thing is sure, rainbows follow bad weather. Soooooo, I created this fun colorful card using this weeks Creepy cute chronicles image from Oddball Art CCC#148 and paired it up with Maddie IMG#109. Here is a step by step tutorial. Hope you like it

List of supplies:

-CCC148 + IMG109

-Copic markers

-Nuvo Drops

-Ranger Dylusions Dyalog stencil

-Texture paste

-White cardstock

-Purple cardstock

-Glue

-Scissors

Step 1:I created a raindrop background with white cardstock, the Ranger Dylusions Dyalog stencil and white texture paste.

Step 2:

While the background is drying I colored both the rainbow image CCC148 and Maddie IMG109 with my Copic Markers.

Step 3:

With scissors I cut out both images and glued the images onto the background and I added the sentiment that come together with the CCC148 image

Step 4:

Glue the card on purple cardstock and add some pink and yellow drops to finish it of.

I'm so over winter and ready for Spring!!

Hi!

Today I bring you a little quick inspiration with stamps from Oddball Stamps.

It is a very easy card to make, but I think it is quite beautiful.

I have made it with the stamps CCC 148 Rainbows, img# 393 Whimsical Christmas Peggy Sue’s Winter Blues, and img# 13 Girl with Umbrella Stormy.

Once the stamps were colored with Finecolour and Ohuhu markers, I cut them out with scissors.

For the background I inked the sky with the help of a stencil and I-Zink Mer du Sud ink, leaving the lower part of the panel uncolored.

With a black fine-tipped marker, I marked the separation of the horizon between ground and sky, and drew a puddle.

I colored the grass directly with Finecolour markers from the green-yellow range and the puddle water with two shades of blue and a white gel marker for the reflections.

I glued all the elements with white glue.

As you can see, very simple and fast to do.

Rainbows Follow Bad Weather

 Good morning Oddballs!  Jenn here today with a fun card I made using Lizzy's new image CCC #148 Premium Rainbows (being released tomorrow):

I colored using Blick markers and Ranger Stickles - I created the background paper with alcohol inks and a cloud stamp.  I added a piece of decorative tape and a dragonfly charm.  I had fun coordinating rainbow colored mini clips and gemstones - I love how this came out and how the image is the focal point.  I hope you are all finding some rainbows in your life right now!  Peace.

SEWN CARD TUTORIAL: EGG HUNT!!

I´ve made a SEWN CARD for you with the CCC# 146 EGG HUNT DIGI STAMP Creepy Cute Chronicles and CCC# 124 Ghosts in the Mist digital Stamp. 

The theme of the month is Easter!!

If you've made it this far, let's start with the step by step:

* Step 1: I´ve printed the CCC# 146 in a watercolor paper card (4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches). And cut a paper decorated (5 inches by 4 inches).

 

* Step 2: I´ve colored the stamp with Polychromos (Faber Castle).

* Step 3: I make perforations with an awl and foam where I will sew by hand.

* Step 4: I sew with black and mustard thread.

* Step 5: I apply glue to the decorated paper and sew making zig zag by machine.

* Step 6: Finally, I highlight some parts of the stamp with a white acrylic paint pen (Ranger).

Here is today's makes for Oddball Art Co - Our Oddball theme for this month is 

Let's Get Outside - Easter

I am using CCC147 Premium Bunny Butt - image and sentiment

Step ONE

Combine the image and sentiment in Word and print on white card. Trim this to size and add this to a kraft card base. Using a Micron pen, add faux stitching around the edge.

Step TWO

Print the image the same size on various pieces of paper to cut out and paper piece. I used Cosmic Shimmer glue to stick the pieces in place.

Here you can see I have used book paper and some papers from my stash.

Step THREE

If you are worried about wasting paper, arrange the images to print four to a page. Using washi tape affix 4 different papers to the 4 corners of a piece of card and send through your printer. I have not always had success with this method but it can work well. I usually just send the different papers through individually and put the waste in my scraps.

Step FOUR

Continue adding the pieces until the image is complete. I find it easier to use thinner papers for this technique. They are much easier to cut out. The green paper and the brown stripe were quite thick and pretty fiddly - especially with the small pieces.

Egg Hunt!

 Hello there!  Jenn here back today with another fun Easter card using Lizzy's new image CCC #146: Egg Hunt along with the eggs from the Members Exclusive April 2021 Bunny Kisses: 

I colored with Prismacolor pencils & mineral spirits and some markers.  Added some Ranger Stickles glitter glue, some gemstone stickers, and a little ribbon tag.  Papers & coordinating stickers are from Doodlebug Designs.   Thanks for visiting us!  Peace.

Happy Easter dear Creepy Girls, in this somewhat breathless period in which sometimes the sun is still obscured by clouds and rain, I show you this card as if it were an excerpt from everyday life. Who knows if among you there are those who keep their tender plants at home in the winter to protect them from the cold ... up and up we are almost there, soon they will be free. I dedicate this card to the last rainy day, whether symbolic or not, before the exuberant arrival of sunny days and perhaps carefree days.

To recreate it I used various stamp sets from our dear Lizzy from OddballArtStamp:

-CCC138 ART YOUR HEART OUT digital stamp

-MARCH MEMBER ESCLUSIVE RAINY DAYS digital stamp

Basically the procedure is the same, I design everything on the PC with photoshop and then print on paper for markers. This time I wanted to play a lot on the composition and intertwining of the different timbres to create a very dense set of figures, to create an almost normal life scene.

Once the coloring was done I created the background, however small, first passing a pink base with a copic pink and then passing over it with a "shifter Brust" stencil and a "victorian velvet" distress oxide all by Tim Holz, creating a 70s wallpaper.I finished the edges with the same oxide and that's it.It's done for today too, I hope to be able to inspire you with my cards and with my way of using digital ... which I love more and more!
