Here's what I came up with as an inspiration using one of the Creepy Cute Chronicles Digi Stamps!

                                                                  CCC # 126 IF I WERE A WITCH

First, I printed it out on a 110 lb. white cardstock and colored it with my Arteza Ever Blend Markers, added some Arteza Gel Pens to the hat and lips then fussy cut it.  Next, I cut a piece of 4 x 5 1/4 pattern paper from The Paper Studio as my background.

Then, I added some double-sided tape at the back of my image then added it to my card panel.  I also printed the sentiment in a white cardstock then cut a few strips of white cardstock and added it to the back instead of using double sided tape. This serves as an additional dimension to my sentiment.

To finish off my card, I added it to my card base that is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches Recollections orange cardstock and added small black sequins from Studio Katia for embellishments.

Hope you like and enjoy my inspiration and can't wait what you guys can come up with.

Frankenstein bookmark

Hello everyone!

This is my first post here on Oddball blog, but certainly not the last 馃榾

I wanted to show you a bookmark I made for my hubby. He loves to read horror stories so I think this suits well for him.

I used Frankenstein #92 digi stamp and coloured it with alcohol markers. I wanted to use little different skin colour for this (I have coloured many greens and greys), so I used blue-greens.

On the background I have used stencil, pasta, Distress Oxides and different sprays (it's made earlier this year). Then I wanted to add something to ribbons too, so there is now eyes and spiders and BLOOD (acrylic paint).

I hope this inspires you to do your own bookmarks. Happy reading an crafting moments to everyone!

Oh, almost forgot -  remember to use code DTMER1 on Oddball Art Website so you get 2 digi stamps and pay only one!

OCTOBER SHOW IS COMING!

Hello Oddballers!

How are you?

I´m Natalia (@la_maleta_encantada_scrap) and I´m delighted to meet you.

Today I bring you a CARD as a creative project with the digital Stamp Big Eye Beetlejuice Tribute The Ghost With The Most Image No. 304

You can find it on:

I show you the card made with Mixed-Media techniques:

The background is painted with watercolors on napkin textured paper.

On top I added halographic paste an silver pigment in some areas to illuminated them.

Later, I´ve made stampings with Mixed-Media stamps for some parts. And I have decorated them with white dots with acrylic paint.

Then I´ve applied a stencil with gritty black texture paste to emboss the card. And put a handmade musical tag with a dyed silk tie.

Finally, I glue the entire structure to a decorated paper base and sewn around the card. Also sewed in a zig-zag at the joints of the watercolor background colors.

Stamps have been coloured with Copics (alcohol-based markers).

I hope you have fun with this creative process!!

REMEMBER! You can use my code DTNAT1 if you would like to buy 2
digital stamps and get 1 free on Oddballartco.com. And you can share
your projects with #creepycutechronicles on Instagram and on Facebook

Watch your email for this week's image - CCC126 If I were a Witch...

You might remember my last post when I made a paper doll using the October exclusive set. Today I have made another in the series.

You will see a similar post on my blog, Calling All Crafters,
along with other posts you might like...

Step One:

I found another small block of wood from my husband's stash.  Remember last time I stuck the pumpkins to it so that they would stand up.

This time I die cut a whole cluster of stars from Oddball Art Stamps Papers.
I made these into a background, sticking them onto a piece of backing card, for the little witch I then stuck them on the block.

Step Two:

I printed the image, coloured her with Copics and cut her out.
I then glued her in place in front of the stars using a strong glue!
I used a  black pen to create a shadow around her.

Step Three:

I printed the sentiment and die cut this with a smaller star, glued it in place and added some starry embellishments.

Happy Crafting!

Alice in Wonderland (Mini Album - Covers and binding)

Hi!

Today I bring the last part of the mini album "Creepy Alicia" as inspiration for the DT of Oddball Stamps.

In this last part, I have made the covers and glued the pages, as well as adorned the cover and finished off the details.

For the cover I have used the images and papers of Oddball:

For the pull-down tabs where the photos will go I have used the digis:

June Members Exclusive 2020: Hello Summer

As when I made the pages and assembled them, this time I also added some strips on the back of the last page to give it depth and to be able to put another drop-down between that last page and the cover. I could have repeated the process on the first page against the cover, but decided not to.

For the covers, I lined with the same decorated paper that I was using for the backdrops, two pieces of cardboard of 18.5 cm x 15.5 cm (7 ¼ inches x 6”). I left the inner part unlined (not necessary)

For the spine I used a piece of red cloth, to give it flexibility.

I glued the covers to the spine, leaving a space slightly greater than the thickness of my pages.

Finally I glued the pages to the covers making sure to center everything right.

For the flyers I cut two A3 cards in half for their narrow part, and glued at 10 cm (4”), leaving 15 x 10 cm rectangles (just under 6 x 4”)

In each of the flyers, I glued a digi with the same theme as the corresponding page as a tab (a bottle, some mushrooms, a hat and some roses)

For the cover I used Premium CCC117 and 124 freebie papers and the rabbit digi that I colored with my Finecolours. I glued them together in the chosen arrangement and all together with the covers with double-sided foam to give it volume.

And so I end the album.

I have had a lot of fun doing this project. Did you like it? Hope so!! And also that it has inspired you to make your creations!!

I remind you that you have the hashtag #creepycutechronicles to share your creations and the discount code DTIRENE10 for your purchases at Oddball Stamps. Also that there is a challenge open to everyone on the Oddball page on WIX and that if you subscribe to the newsletter you get a free digi every Friday night!

See you!

Jaz Ready for Halloween!

For this inspirational make I have used the October exclusive set:

This is available when you subscribe to
 Creepy Cute Chronicles
Visit the site for more details!

You will see a similar post on my blog, Calling All Crafters,
along with other posts you might like...

Today's make uses two of the images from the monthly exclusive, with colour added with Copics,  and then cut out.

I have made a paper doll...

Step One:

I found a small block of wood from my husband's stash and stuck the pumpkins to it so that they would stand up. As you can see I used a couple of dies to cut these out to make more pumpkin sorts of shape. I used distress inks around the edges.

This is about 8cm high.

Step Two:

I had made the girl about 26cm tall. I added several extra layers of card to her to make her sturdy enough to stand - this ended up being 4 layers all together.
I then glued her in place in front of the pumpkins using a strong glue!

Ready for Halloween!

Happy Crafting!

Tis the season to be spooky!

Hello

One more Friday I bring you a tutorial with the new weekly freebie from Oddball Stamps.

On this occasion, the Premium version of the ccc125 Spooky Season was accompanied by an old freebie, the ccc23 Haunted House, and the image #80 Pumpking Clarissa.

To make the card I first colored my stamps with alcohol markers and cut them out with scissors.

Then I made the background of the card. To do this, I inked a white card with I-zink Cire and Distress Ink Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Black Shoot inks, to make the sky at nightfall.

I punched out another white card stock in the shape of a hill and inked it with Distress Ink Forest Moss ink.

I finally cut out the feeling and also inked it in the same color that I inked the hill with.

As a last step, I glued everything in place and Clarissa and the two characters from the freebie ccc 125 with double-sided foam tape to give them relief.

As always, I glued my panel onto a colored cardstock base.

And this is the result.

I hope you like and inspire.

Likewise, I also hope that it encourages you to participate in the challenge that Oddball Stamps has on the Wix platform and which you can access through the web or the app. Remember that you have the hashtag #creepycutechronicles to share your work and the discount code DTIRENE10 to make your purchases of Oddball digital stamps.

See you!

You're Scared?

Are you scared? I'm scared, this little guy is definitely scared! So what went wrong here? Perhaps the next card will give some insight into the perplexing madness of this very spoary (I mean spooky)  and moldy scene! Were they just looking for a fungi? Next time I'm here on the Oddball  blog I will answer these mind blowing questions and more!

For now we will concentrate on this card and how I created the scene! As Halloween approaches I am getting more and more excited, I understand it wont be the same this year but its all what you make it! Aside from florals Halloween cards are my favorite to make, perhaps because I have such a vivid imagination and love everything spooky! I thank Lizzy, such an extremely talented artist for designing  amazing images that always allow me to create the scenes I love so much!

This is an A2 sized card. I used my alcohol markers and pencil crayons to colour. I did use some distress ink in my background  and the frame is pattern paper that  I had!

The images I used are as follows- CCC# 123 Foggy Forest

                                                       CCC#118 Starry Night

The worm is from the August Exclusive. I still can't believe memberships are only $15.00 a year!  Such an amazing deal!

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to subscribe to the CCC Newsletter , new issue every Friday along with a free download!
