Well it's about time I filled this part of my blog in. I am in my mid-sixties, there you go that comment will cover me for a few years yet. I am a wife, mother of 2 and grandmother of 7. I live in Narellan, an outer suburb now of Sydney, but it was out in the sticks you could say 46 years ago. I have always enjoyed most crafts and did Art in high school. When my children were growing up I didn't have too much time for it, although I did knit, as my husband was always away truckin'. Later I really got into it, first cardmaking and scrapbooking, collecting rubber stamps until I discovered that I could manage to work out Facebook. Then I could not get enough of digital stamps. As life gets a bit harder to cope with, I find my craft helps with my stress, yes I am a real stress-head! Hence I try not to over-commit to too many DTs but I do love the fact that someone does like what I do enough to ask me to join them on their team.

I used the gorgeous 'Sugar' image #242 for my focal point on this page. I've added here to a canvas background which I created with Brushos and Gel Medium. She's coloured with Alcohol Markers, coloured pencils, Faber-Castell PITT Pens and a little white Posca Paint Pen.

Gracy Gross Face
Hi Oddballs - Angie here with another Inspiration Post for our Blog Challenge (Always Anything Goes with an Optional Theme - this month's being Messy and Sketchy)
I have used Gracy Gross Face IMG223.
Coloured with copic markers.
Hard to see but I have some glossy accents on the eyeballs to give a shine to them.
My background is using my Gel Plate, paints, and stamp.
Nice and messy and sketchy which suits our theme perfectly!

Spring Has Sprung...Love Your Art
Alexa here! Well, it's finally sunny here in Michigan & we're planting all of the flowers & vegetables! A bit like this girl from Oddball Art :
This is Ginny the Gardener No. 386 & she was just perfect for some fun art journal play to ring in the sunny season of newness! Some watercolors & fluid acrylic for the background, markers & colored pencils for the image & a pen to add in the final Messy & Sketchy touches. Remember to play & have fun with your art! Today I show you card that is a little different than usual :)
The basis is a design paper in wood look.
I colored the Digi with Spectrum Noir and Twinmarkers.
I have drawn the walls of the digis a bit longer :)
At the bottom I have torn stripes in different lengths.
These were colored a bit with Metallic Twinmarkers.
In the sign I wrote with a calligraphic pen * Messy and Sketchy *, since it is topic in April.

Aries amongst the Stars with Suzi
Good Morning All, Today I'd like to share with you my latest project featuring one of Lizzy's beautiful images.
I've used 'Aries from the Odd Oracles Series of images, image#428' she's coloured with Alcohol Markers, along with some iridescent acrylic medium, and fine liner for details.
