Creepmas Hands

Hi everyone!

One more Friday I come to bring you an inspirational tutorial with the freebie that will arrive to your emails tonight... if you are subscribed!!

The freebie, which is already number 81, called “Creepmas hands” I have accompanied it with the digital stamps img# 273 Fran Tick &Dave the bat prepare for Hollidays and the img# 274 Tilly & Sprite love tobe a reindeer to form this Christmas scene

The images are colored with alcohol markers.

The background is made with distress ink Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch inks. The splashed drops are made with white concealer (of which they are applied with brush!). Finally the snowy ground is made with a die.

Against this background, I raised the scene by placing some of the images in relief with double-sided tape with foam or 3D.

Finally, I splashed the scene again with a white concealer and pasted the scene to a violet cardboard card base.

I hope you like it, inspire you and publish your projects with the hashtag #creepycutechronicles. Remind you that you have at your disposal the discount code DTIRENE10 to acquire many stamps in the Oddballstore

See you son with more inspiration!

A merry Little Christmas....

Here is another card that I created with a cute girlie Ellie the Elf from Oddball Art Stamps. As you can see I cut her head off again as her whole body didn't fit in between the Wreath hahahahaha. I colored her with the Spectrum Noir Classiques and Triblend markers and enhanced with Colourblend pencils. The embossing folder is from Gemini and is called the Christmas Centerpiece. Colored with the Pine Tree Harmony water reactive inkpad and gold gilding wax on CC white stamping card. The designer paper is from the Poinsettia Perfection paperpad.

Sweet Kawaii Christmas Bear X-Mas Fred

Hello everyone!

One more day I come to share a card made with an Oddball digi stamp.

The Christmas season is approaching and you have to start congratulations card, so today I bring you a spin card using the img# 352 SweetKawaii Christmas Bear X-mas Fred digital stamp

To do this I cut the pieces of the base and the inside of the card and folded them, both, in half. (The inside should be slightly shorter than the outside)

Then I applied the emboss resist technique to highlight the snowflakes on a background inked with Distress Ink color Worn Lipstick.

On the inside I punched a circle of sufficient size for the digi to turn smoothly and made two more folds a short distance from the edge of the circle, but at the same distance from both edges.

I printed and colored the digi in duplicate, with my alcohol markers.
Before starting to assemble the card, I stamped some red ink feelings on the white background of the base.

I finally glued all the pieces together. Between the two digi stamps I passed a white thread (better if it is transparent, but did not have it) and I pasted it in the central fold of the inside of my card with double-sided tape.

Finally I glued the two pieces of the card and made a cover with a piece of cardboard and a Christmas feeling.

As my digi stood out a bit, I added a shooter mode or card closure a feeling belonging to the digi img# 198 Magic Carpet Ride Spells Big Eye Unicorn on a Rainbow, and I started playing with it!! (It's really addictive! LOL)

I hope you like it and try to make these types of cards. If you have any work with the Oddball digits, share it in networks under the hashtag #creepycutechronicles so we can see it. And do not hesitate to use the discount code DTIRENE10 to get as many digits as you want for your projects (or paper collections... or rubber stamps... or... Well! Better enter the store and discover it yourself!!! LOL)

See you very soon with more inspiration!

SHOOT FOR THE MOON

Hello!
I bring you a new collaboration with Oddball Art Stamps.

I created a tag with the image #152, which I think is beautiful!
I have colored it with Copic and the background is very simple, black gesso, stencil with Icing Paste and several shades of waxes.

Remember that you can use my DTHADRY10 code to enjoy a 10% discount on the stamps that you can find on the web.

Creepy Cute Chronicles issue 79

In this weeks Creepy Cute Chronicles we feature AJ's incredible project, her Lunar Luminary inspired by this weeks featured image, color palette and card sketch we offer you in issue 79!

Visit AJ over on HER BLOG to see her step by step video and try this design at home!
Also in this weeks issue I am excited to be able to share my own project created using this weeks featured stamp, and following the same color palette seen above and inspired by the card sketch we give you in this weeks issue.

It was fun to get the paints, papers, glitter and glue out and get messy again, its been far too long!

I am so happy with how my card turned out but I found it rather hard to photograph due to the reflective nature of the gorgeous "paper" I used in the center which acted more like a mirror, showing my reflection in the image if I took a straight on photo.

but that gorgeous glittering background makes it all worth while!

My card resembles a shadow box that follows the featured sketch design.  Instead of fixing the images to the background, I strung them in using thread. I love the dangling look it gives!

When I completed the card I found the images wanting to spin around rather then stay facing the right way.  To fix this issue I used foam mounting tape, doubled up to make about a 1/4 inch deep foam pad, I removed the backing from only one side and adhered the pads to the back of the images and leaving the backing on the opposite side so they still dangle and move side to side but this prevented them from turning the other way and flipping over.

With the move of my computer and desk from the office on the main floor to my basement studio this week,  I hope to be able to find a lot more crafty time then previously before.

So stay tuned for more projects from me in the weeks to come!
