HAPPY HALLOWEEN! It´s time of your death...

Hello Oddballers!

I´m Natalia (@la_maleta_encantada_scrap). How are you?

Today I show you a CARD to celebrate the most terrifying night of the year with you.

I ´ve used the digital Stamp "Twisted Circus Hissy Howler Creepy Cute Clown Chibi Image 532” and CCC 128 “This is Halloween”.

You can find it on:

Now, I´ll explain you how I´ve made this tag:

* Step 1: I cut a card. Decorated paper (5 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches) and Copic´s paper (5 3/8 inches by 7 3/8 inches). I apply glue.

* Step 2: Stamp with photo frame stamps and simulate a wall. I color them with Ohuhu alcohol markers and the embellishments too (flowers and bat).

* Step 3: I apply glue the sentiment “Violets are blue, blood is red” on the frames.

* Step 4: I color the bloody chibi girl because she has killed the bat (CCC 128 stamp). Bat and flowers have been highlighted in relief. I glue the girl.

* Step 5: Put the sentiment “Your window was open, I ´m under your bed” with violet cardstock.

* Step 6: Finally, I sew the card with black thread.

I hope it was fun for you! Happy Halloween!!!!

Tutorial - Trick or treat card wit alcohol inks

Hello Oddball lovers and happy Halloween!

Here is my newest card using awesome new CCC 128 This is Halloween image. Isn't the image so cute and inspiring?!

I also made you a tutorial how to do this card, so here we go..

So, grab synthetic paper and alcohol inks and start creating. Remember that the smell is pretty intensive, so make sure you have good ventilation.

1. Hold the paper upright and trickle the alcohol ink from over part (picture 1).

2. Do the same thing with multiple colours (picture 2).

3. Turn the paper (lower side up) and do the same thing with colours you like (picture 3).

4. Put the paper down and add some extender.

5. Put the baking paper (or similar) over the ink paper and smooth it with your hand (picture 4).

6. Take the baking paper away and the background is ready (picture 5). If you want you can do steps 4-6 multiple times.

Here is another technique (I used these both at my card):

1. Use some extender on your synthetic paper (I used spray bottle).

2. Drop various colours of alcohol inks to paper (picture 1).

3. Take a straw and blow the inks from different sides (picture 2).

4. You can do these steps multiple times if you want. My final creation is shown on picture 3.

Then you need to colour the stamp.  I used this beautiful CCC 128 It is Halloween digistamp and some pumpkins from CCC 125 Spooky Season and Members October Exclusive image. I coloured those with Promarkers, PromarkerBrush's and Copics.

Here is the colours I used (C= Copics, P= Promarkers):

Skin: Cinnamon, Tan, Putty, Satin, Almond (all P).

Hat & top: green - G99 (C), Forest green (P), Bright green (P), Lime green (P), YG03 (C), YG00 (C).

Hat, top, pumpkins: orange - Burnt orange (P), YR07 (C), YR04 (C), YR02 (C), YR000 (C).

Pants: BV29, BV08, BV17, BV13, BV02 (all C).

Hair & banner: BV08, BV17, BV13, BV02 (all C).

Bats:  Black (P), C7 (C), Cool grey 3-5 (P).

When colouring is done, cut the images.

If you want you can use cutting dies to make a frame (or something else) for you card.

Then just mix these all parts together and create your own card 😃

And here again is the result where I ended up.

Wow, there was so much information. I hope you understood everything. English isn't my native language, so sometimes it's hard to find the right words. If you have any guestions just let me know!  And I hope to see your creations too, please post them to Oddball facebook group so everyone can admire those!

Remember that with this code DTMER1 you can buy 2 digi stamps from Oddball Stamps and pay only one. The more the merrier!

And again HAVE A HAPPY (and little spooky) HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween by Sabrina

Hello!  Halloween is approaching .... how wonderful!  I decided to create a Halloween-themed digital card ... this is precisely the beauty of digital stamps, they allow us to create digital cards to be sent to and away from us, they can be resized and ... colored directly with ours  iPad!  I used Members October exclusive set (which you get when you subscribe to Creepy Cute Chronicles) and CCC 127 Pumpkins Please coloring it with my iPad.

and you have prepared some Halloween decorations?!?  I can't wait to see the happy faces of my children!

Hi friends! Happy Thursday! I can't believe it's Thursday already. Days passed by so fast and in a few days it's Halloween already! Are you excited for the Halloween?

So today,  I'm here to share another project inspiration that I created using the CCC #63 Digital Stamp Haunted Lemonade.

This is such a simple project, and anyone can make it. Come and follow along with my instructions!

First, I printed my image and sentiment on a White cardstock from Cardstock Warehouse. I really love their paper and the thickness, and they have several kinds of papers to choose from.

Then, I cut a piece of 4.25 by 5.5 inches Sparkle Mesh Fabric from my stash that I got from Dollar Tree. This will be used as my background and adhered it to my A2 card size panel.

Next, is the fun part, coloring time! I love using my Arteza Ever Blend Markers as they are so easy to blend. I started with Tuscan Sun for the Lemonade. Then, I blended the Yellow Ochre and Tuscan Sun for the Straw. Next is the Honey Yellow and Bumble Bee Yellow for the Citrus Images, and finally a touch of  Arctic Blue for the Eyeballs.

I also used the Glacier Blue color to add some shadow on the Mason Glass Jar Lemonade. Once done, I fussy cut it and added a double-sided tape at the back of my image and adhered it to the card panel.

Finally, I added the sentiment on the right side and this card is finish.

As you can see in the picture below, I did not add anymore embellishments as the background has some sparkle already.

Here's another close up of the card with CCC #63 Digital Haunted Lemonade.

I hope you like what I made today and were inspired to create your own .

You Bake Me Crazy

Hello Friends! Today, I am sharing this card I created using Oddball Stamps Digital Image CCC #113 Strawberry Fields. I saw a lot of images but this one caught my attention.

Let me give you some details on how I made this card.

First, I created a background using Distress Oxide Inks - Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, and Fossilized Amber. I let it dry for a few minutes then, I spritz it with my Perfect Pearl Spray (just a combination of water and a little Perfect Pearl Powder White). This will add some shimmer in our background. It reacts to Distress Oxides as it is still not fully dried.

Next, I applied heat using a heat gun to speed up the drying process. You can avoid this step if you like and have it dried for a few hours or even overnight.

Then, I started coloring the image using my Arteza Ever Blend Markers. I used several markers to blend the colors and make it colorful and fun! I added some Studio Katia's Satin Rainbow Confetti as my sprinkles to the cupcake. It made me so hungry after I saw what I colored :)

To add some dimension on the strawberry and leaves I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle. Then, I adhered my card base to an A2 white card panel. After that, I cut some scrap papers, put them together and then glue to the back of my image and adhered to the card base. These will serve an added dimension. You can also use double sided tape, but this method saves me money as well :)

Finally, I added my sentiment on the side and this card is finished.

How to make a Halloween Fabric Tag!

Hello Oddballers!

Today I´ve created a TAG for you with the October Members Exclusive 2020 digital Stamp "Jaz ready for Halloween". As the theme of the week is Pumpkins Please!, I´ve added the CCC 127 that it´s free is you are subscribed to the newsletter.

You can find it on:

https://www.oddballartco.com/product-page/ccc-120-i-have-a-dream-creepy-cute-chronicle

Now, I´ll explain you how I´ve made this tag:

* Step 1: I´ve cut a cardboard (4 inches by 6 1/2 inches). I´ve lined it with fabric and I´ve sewn it.

* Step 2: I´ve have applied black texture paste with a constellation stencil. Dry with heat gun.

* Step 3: I´ve colored the stamps with alcohol markers (Copics Sketch).

* Step 4: I´ve placed the stamps. The big bat and the sentiment have been highlighted in relief with adhesive pads.

* Step 5: I cut a stripe of white fabric and make prints of planets on it.

* Step 6: I place a black eyelet of cardboard and on top of it I put back another eyelet again. It´s metallic and purple.

* Step 7: Finally, I´ve glued a black ribbon with pompoms below the tag. And make a bow with the three ribbons you see in the image.
