Dismal Pennat

Hello everyone!

November is always a weird time for me for crafting. I rarely get inspired to create projects, but this year, I am committed to sharing as many projects as I can. For my first make, I decided to create this pennant using image #460 Dismal Dahlia Dark Fairy Elf, for this months OddBall Art blog theme.

I wanted a soft look for this image. And decided to color it using some American Crafts colored pencils. A bit of Black Soot distress ink gave a soft, yet bold border to my die cut frame.

For my pennant, I used some chalk cardstock I had in my stash and I freehand cut my design. Created flyers by using a gold doilies piece and my project is done!
