Hello Friends! Today, I am sharing this card I created using Oddball Stamps Digital Image CCC #113 Strawberry Fields. I saw a lot of images but this one caught my attention.
Let me give you some details on how I made this card.
First, I created a background using Distress Oxide Inks -
Seedless Preserves, Worn Lipstick, and Fossilized Amber. I let it dry for a few
minutes then, I spritz it with my Perfect Pearl Spray (just a combination of water and a
little Perfect Pearl Powder White). This will add some shimmer in our
background. It reacts to Distress Oxides as it is still not fully dried.
Next, I applied heat using a heat gun to speed up the drying
process. You can avoid this step if you like and have it dried for a few hours
or even overnight.
Then, I started coloring the image using my Arteza Ever
Blend Markers. I used several markers to blend the colors and make it colorful
and fun! I added some Studio Katia's Satin Rainbow Confetti as my sprinkles to
the cupcake. It made me so hungry after I saw what I colored :)
To add some dimension on the strawberry and leaves I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle. Then, I adhered my card base to an A2 white card panel. After that, I cut some scrap papers, put them together and then glue to the back of my image and adhered to the card base. These will serve an added dimension. You can also use double sided tape, but this method saves me money as well :)
Finally, I added my sentiment on the side and this card is finished.
