March's Premium Membership Image Embellished Box

Hey Creepy Crafters!

It's Celia, from Paper Beats Rock Designs here with a fun Project Share to show you March's Creepy Cute Chronicle Premium Monthly stamp: Let Them Eat Cake!
First I printed out the Marie Antoinette stamp 110 lb cardstock, colored her up with alcohol markers, and created 2 box halves out of 8.5x11 colored cardstock. I then went through my stash and grabbed chipboard sheets from Maggie Holmes & Echo Park and vellum flowers I was gifted in a swap.
I cut the black frame from glitter cardstock using my scoreboard to keep perfect lines. I found a scrap piece of paper with crowns on it which I then crinkled up and Inked to give it some texture. I glued that panel to the frame and sewed them together as well as a strip of scrap paper and lace.
Then I grabbed a circle die cut from my stash and layered it underneath the stamp and started to cluster flowers around her. Once I found that she had a pretty even crown of flowers around her I added a few labels underneath to ground the cluster a little.
I cut up some Tim Holtz phrase stickers to make the sentiment that I wanted and tucked a few bundles of thread around the cluster. I grabbed some enamel hearts from my stash and sprinkled them around the box as well as some black paint. The butterfly was from a cupcake topper; I removed the pic and stuck it down to the corner of the box so your eye flows across it.
I love the way this project came out and cant wait tp create more with this stamp!

RAINBOW OF SKULLS

Hi!!!!
Again here with all of you to share my latest project for Oddball Art Stamps!

How every Friday the Creepy Cute Chronicles arrive on time for your weekly appointment.

On this occasion I have prepared a tutorial with photos, it does not give me life! with the images of last week and this week,
ccc #93 #94 and a bonus with the exclusive image of the month of February.

Colored images with Copic

Cut the images

Cut a piece of cardboard, which will be the base of our project.

I'm going to use a skull Dylusions stencil with Modeling Paste in the background.

I use the green Corner Chomper for the corners with the Deco cut.

I paint the whole base with Impasto Pastel color "Mint"

And to highlight the skulls in the background, I apply wax "Peacock"

On the edges I give Versafine Clair ink color "Nocturne"

I paste the images giving them volume

I put my title: "Rainbow of Skulls" and my tag is ready.

And now I leave you with the bonus I have prepared, a card with the exclusive image of the month of February.

Cardboard base, with cracking paste and liquid acrylics "Violet" and "Umber" and the images colored with Copic.

Fight Like A Girl!

Hello there Crafty Friends!

Monica here today to share a project from my art journal. I bought this book a looong time ago with plans to start art journaling but had not dared to touch it. As part of things I want to accomplish is push myself to try new things and use my supplies. And boy, am I happy I got to finally use it! This is a Dylusions Art Journal. You can find my blog here OwlMakeItCrafts.

I started by prepping my pages with white gesso, this is the Vicky Boutin brand. Once my pages were dry I used distress Oxide inks to blend in the color. I used a variety of colors and stencils to create my background.

The focus was going to be on this adorable image from the  Oddball Stamps Shop, Called Vegan Boxer Girl Fight Like A Girl Felicity Image #187. I added details with some stamping around the page as well.

I wanted to create an empowering page to go with this image. As a girl mom I strongly believe in empowering women and girls. I searched online for some quotes that could go with this image and this one spoke to me, because no matter what life throws at you, you must be determined to pick up the pieces and keep fighting.

Thank you so much for joining me today and remember to visit me over at the Oddball Blog. Have a wonderful day and don’t forget to empower someone today, a girl, woman or just anyone!

Yummy and creepy gelato!!

Hi everyone!

Today is the turn for a tutorial for Odbball Art Co, with the freebie of the week as the protagonist.

On this occasion, the CCC93 Gelato is a “sweet” skull that I have accompanied with the images #186 Digi Stamp Big Eye Vegan Waitress Girl Sugar Coated Shelby and the #495 Digi Stamp Creepy Cute Smores Digital CollageSheet.

I have colored all the digis with my Finecolour alcohol markers and trimmed with scissors.

As a feeling I used the one included in the freebie cut with a die.

As a background I painted with a Tiger #11 marker a few stripes freehand and glued a light yellow cardboard as floor. To differentiate the two parts, I have also stuck a thin strip of black cardboard.
To place all the candies on my card, I made a table with a white cardboard and Distress Ink Vintage Photo ink

It is very simple to do and can serve as an invitation or as a menu cover, for example.

I hope you like and inspire. That you share your creations with the hashtag #creepycutechronicles and that you go through the Oddball store where you can use the discount code DTIRENE10.

See you!
