Happy Haunting Zombie ATC

Welcome everyone to another fun and spooky project using OddBall Art Stamps Image #441 Creepy Cute Zombie Reboot Moonbeam Apocalypse.  ATC's are always a fun way to get back in the groove of crafting. They push your creativity, by allowing you to use different mediums, in a comfortable setting. Even if you've never created an artist trading card, there's no wrong way of doing one. You can mix and match images, use inks or paint, stencil or die cuts...the sky's the limit!

What I find the most fun about ATC's , is that i can "force" myself" to focus on main theme and image, and build a scene or add embellishments around that. For this year's Halloween color scheme, i decided to go with non-traditional, Victorian era shades of color. That was becoming a problem for papers and images, until i stumbled upon a planner digital supply page. ATArtDigital had the right colors, images and theme for this project. i colored my main image with my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers, making sure everything coordinated.

I was able to fussy cut some cool "zombie eyeball flowers" from one of the digital papers, and created layers to add some depth to my background. I adhered our zombie girl friend on a strip of black cardstock to keep the focus on her, and finished my piece with some fun enamel accents.

I love how this project turned out. Proof that even soft colors can make Halloween crafts "pop"! What project would you make? Make sure to visit the OddBall Art shop and Facebook page. Once you have chosen the images you would love to create with, make sure to use coupon code DTENY10 to get 10% off your purchase.

Happy Crafting,
