Well Oddballs, here we are again, another first for me - an ATC swap. To be perfectly honest, I have not had any experience with these at all. I had seen references to ATCs on Facebook over the years, but basically thought it was an American thing, you know like collecting baseball cards years ago like you see on the movies. I know the craze of baseball cards has now advanced to Pokémon etc etc, but who would have thought Aussie Gail would have got into this, at 63 years old as well. My first experience thanks to Oddball, and I think I am hooked, another papercraft I have to try and add into my day, less housework, but just think of the therapy benefits! Here is my first attempt
There is room for improvement and I think it will be a while before I venture into mixed media backgrounds on such a small area, but hey, the DT girls are widening my horizons, you knows.
The images I have used for my ATCs are available in the Etsy Shop https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/OddballArtCo?ref=l2-shopheader-name
The images are #413, #417 and #418. Oh nearly forgot, it you use my code DTGAIL10, it will allow you to get 10% off your order in the Etsy shop.
For more details, check out my blog https://hutcho53.blogspot.com/2018/01/oddball-art-co-atc-swap-january-2018.html. Thanks for stopping by Oddballs, see you at the ATC January swap!

Well it's about time I filled this part of my blog in. I am in my mid-sixties, there you go that comment will cover me for a few years yet. I am a wife, mother of 2 and grandmother of 7. I live in Narellan, an outer suburb now of Sydney, but it was out in the sticks you could say 46 years ago. I have always enjoyed most crafts and did Art in high school. When my children were growing up I didn't have too much time for it, although I did knit, as my husband was always away truckin'. Later I really got into it, first cardmaking and scrapbooking, collecting rubber stamps until I discovered that I could manage to work out Facebook. Then I could not get enough of digital stamps. As life gets a bit harder to cope with, I find my craft helps with my stress, yes I am a real stress-head! Hence I try not to over-commit to too many DTs but I do love the fact that someone does like what I do enough to ask me to join them on their team.

Oddball Bookmarks
How's it going Oddballs? I told you I am coming out of my comfort zone. Today I am trying to inspire you to make other things besides cards, well I inspired myself to .. Da da, we have my very first attempt at bookmarks.
I hope you will stop by my blog www.hutcho53.blogspot.com to get the lowdown on what I did and where I went wrong. It's a good read, if you have a spare 2 mins or maybe 3, it's probably the longest blog I have ever posted!
Of course, you will see all the images I have used at the Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/OddballArtCo?ref=l2-shopheader-name. Specific image numbers are on my blog https://hutcho53.blogspot.com/2018/01/oddball-art-co-new-releasefeature.html
and don't forget our first Blog challenge for 2018 with the optional twist of Feature a Creature
http://oddballstamps.blogspot.com.au/2018/01/oddball-art-stamps-blog-challenge.html. I hope I have given you some inspiration to maybe create some bookmarks for it.
Don't forget you can use my code to get an extra 10% discount off your order.
