elisir d'amore

Hello! Today I'm here to keep you company with a magic potion ... an elixir of love, Valentine's Day is approaching and we must find love LOL!

I used # 39 and I colored with the Nuvo Marker Pens, and I dirty the edges with oxide distress ...

I have revived two patterned cards (13 x 15 and 11.5x13.5)

I used some beautiful chipboards and glued on the back of the digi # 39 of the shovels, I then glued everything on my card, I messed with the pearly white Gelotos and used the Nuvo Glitter to fill the little heart and created the dots

my card is ready !

An Oddball Valentine

ek gorman, ccc#35 a

Hey Oddballs!  It's EK from ekgorman designs and it is Friday again, and that means that the next issue of the Creepy Cute Chronicles from Oddball Art will be published again.  This is a weekly newsletter that you get in your inbox just for signing up for said newsletter.  And in that newsletter is a digital stamp that you can use.

This week's digi is a bit of hot chocolate, so I thought I would make an Oddball Valentine with.  I created a video sharing not only how I colored the image, but how I assembled the card.

To watch the video in HD, click here.

Oh Christmas Tree

Happy Oddball Christmas!!!

EK Gorman, Oddball Art a
So one of the things I love most about designing with Oddball Art is I get to be just a little bit cooky and weird.  Based on the words I type, it is hard to tell that I am actually kind of weird.  I always have been!  So to get to design and create with art that is just as off beat as I actually am, feels like a privilege not a job.

Today, on actual Christmas Day, I feel honored to share my oddball christmas tree using digital stamp IMG487 Creepmas Tree.  I colored the image up with my copics and then added glossy accents to the tree.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art b

I then added layers and layers of paper to make the slightly creepy tree seem normal.  Because I live in a world where my slightly weird personally is in fact normal.

So, on this, Christmas Day...

Merry Christmas Weirdo!

Sassy Witch & Sissy Cat

Hey Oddballs!  It's EK from ekgorman designs and I am popping into ask you one question...

Are you ready for Halloween?

Needless to say the whole team over at Oddball Art is gearing up for the tricks and treats.  No seriously...you are going to want to stay tuned all week to catch sightings of the ghouls and ghosts, witches and warlocks, pumpkins and peculiars.  After all, Halloween is the best time of year over at Oddball!

EK Gorman, Oddball Art a

Today I am wetting your whistles with this fun witch digi, IMG81 Witch Sassy & Sissy Cat.  I played around with this image last summer on black cardstock and some colored pencils, but have always wanted to color it with my copics.  Today, I felt was the day.

If you missed my previous project, you can sneak back and see it here which includes a video on how I colored the project.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art b

But today we are playing with copics, and I just loved coloring Sassy up.  Additionally, I added a simply Halloween greeting, some halloween themed papers and of course a few appropriately colored Sparkle Blend sequins.

The full force of the Halloween explosion should begin Friday evening, but make sure you tune in all week because the team is surely to be giving teasers all week!

Today I am playing around with the digital stamp IMG81 Witch Sassy & Sissy Cat and some black cardstock.  Did you know that you can print your digital stamps onto black cardstock?  That's right, you can!

Today I am using my new colored pencils to really make this image pop out on some dark cardstock.

To help everyone see how I this process of coloring on dark cardstock works, I went ahead and whipped up a little video sharing my coloring techniques.  To pop over to my channel and see the video in HD, click here.
