 The Outlawz challenge this month  starting on March 15th is to use Spray inks...

I printed the image half a dozen times and sprayed them with yellow and gold sprays.

The image is the Newsprint Flower

 When dry, I cut them out. I stamped the sentiment on the remainder of the page with foam letter stamps, drew lines around the words using a fineliner and then cut them out.

I sprayed a white burlap page in my Dina Wakley Dylusions journal with two different greens and a yellow spray.

I then added the sentiment and the flowers.

I cut several Tim Holtz butterflies - BIGZ Tattered Butterfly, cutting them from music paper (American Crafts). Once I had added these I used a black Posca to emphasise the edges.

Today's make is a journal page:

I have just been taking part in a 10 day virtual retreat with Michelle Grant Designs

In this I have been making a junk journal - I am now adding different pages...

Recipe:

Step One. I decided to choose a page that was a piece of Patterned Paper that looks like a table cloth or picnic rug.

Step Two. I printed the images and cut them out.  I then painted them with watercolours I adhered them to my journal page.

Step Three.  I added vintage photo Distress Ink to the edges of the pages and a bit of doodling with a black pen.

A Spooky Thank You

Today's make is a journal page:

Recipe:

Step One. Two page spread covered in acrylics. I used some of the techniques I discovered in a workshop by Lorri Lennox.

Step Two. I stencilled the page with black paint and a stencil of squares. I then stamped with more acrylics and junk items (cotton reel, bottle top etc)

Step Three. I printed the images and cut them out. I adhered them to my journal page with matte gel. I then painted them with watercolours.

Step Four.  I added black soot Distress Ink to the edges of the pages and a bit of doodling with black and white pens.

Tis the season to be spooky

For this inspirational make I have used images and sentiment from CCC125 Spooky Season

During October I have been making a Halloween album (see more on my blog) and this is another page - but the parts could equally make a card...

Recipe:

Step One. Page matted with a paper from my stash with vintage photo Distress Ink around the edges.

Step Two. Print the images and paint with shimmery watercolours.

Step Three. Cut out the images.

Step Four. Add vintage photo to the sentiment and trim, adding the Distress Ink to the edges.

Step Five. Adhere to the page.

During October I have been making a Halloween album (see more on my blog). It has several pockets in which I am putting Halloween cards.

 I have made an easel card to go in one of the pockets - this is the front and what appears as you take it from the envelope.

Recipe:

1. Base made from a square black card blank plus an extra square of black card. One side of the base is folded in half to form the easel for this.
2. Layers of Stampin' Up Halloween paper on the base and the extra card.
3. Ghosts printed in two sizes and cut out.
4. I am using CCC151 Premium Mummy's Day sentiment to form the stand.
5. Additional puffy embellishments from Stampin' Up.
