Oh Christmas Tree

Happy Oddball Christmas!!!

So one of the things I love most about designing with Oddball Art is I get to be just a little bit cooky and weird.  Based on the words I type, it is hard to tell that I am actually kind of weird.  I always have been!  So to get to design and create with art that is just as off beat as I actually am, feels like a privilege not a job.

Today, on actual Christmas Day, I feel honored to share my oddball christmas tree using digital stamp IMG487 Creepmas Tree.  I colored the image up with my copics and then added glossy accents to the tree.

I then added layers and layers of paper to make the slightly creepy tree seem normal.  Because I live in a world where my slightly weird personally is in fact normal.

So, on this, Christmas Day...

Merry Christmas Weirdo!

Merry Oddball!!!

Creepy Glowbugg back again with what will be my last post for 2018.

I can't think of a better way to go out than with an Oddball Xmas!!

I have had a great time guest designing for Lizzy at Oddball Art Co.

I couldn't resist playing with some of the CCC freebies, 

like this simple, yet perfect holiday image from CCC#27.  

Such a fun and easy gate fold card with a Stickled and stitched die cut, 

some snowflakes, and some white Nuvo drops.

This is one of two images in this set of versatile digis #339.

I paired this one with a simple gold embossed sentiment and gold pearls.

The vibrant Copic coloring really pops against the black.

Same thing for this one, but I used silver embossing with a different

sentiment, and silver pearls and rhinestones for accents. 

Another Copic colored image from CCC#27, stitched die cuts,

and some sequins.

I love this one! Image #137 colored with Copics, against stitched die cuts,

backed onto some very busy, yet complimentary paper. Black Nuvo drops

added for texture.

Lastly, I couldn't resist these wacky critters from CCC#14 that I merged with

the jar in digi set #447.  I added their names onto the tags as well.

I added some iridescent Nuvo drops on the fronts, backed the tags onto 

black cardstock for stability and contrast, and strung them with baker's twine.

I used a white gel pen to add the "To: and From:" on the back of each tag.

It is going to be an Oddball Xmas, indeed!

Hello everyone!!! Today I will show you Scrooges Kitty By OddBall and Nuvo Shimmer Powder by Tonic; they are mica powders with different pignments inside them and very sparkling. Nuvo Shimmer powder can be used by spreading the powder directly on our work, spraying the water or, as I will show you, to color using water and brush.
You only need very little powder to get a scintillant coloring. Nuvo Shimmer Powder are available in different colors.
For today's project will serve tags, water and saucer. I will use some colors mixed with each other and with water and brush I will paint Scrooges Kitty By OddBall  ... the link to buy this fabulous digital can be found in the infobox below.

We have made a few changes on the Oddball Challenges. 

Firstly, we now only have ONE challenge. 

We will no longer have Facebook challenges. 
We will have Brand Ambassadors that will be chosen from the Facebook group.

Secondly, you have until the end of December to submit your entries (Yes! you can enter up to 3 times as always)
Lastly, you may link to your Facebook or Instagram posts to enter the challenge if you don't have a blog. Just needs to be a NEW post.

Now for our brand new challenge.

 Just as in previous months we will have a theme BUT it's optional so you can enter our challenge using any stamp with any theme but if you do decide to follow our theme,

"CHRISTMAS LIGHTS"

and are chosen as one of our winners.......

Early morning colouring with Ria...

Happy Monday Oddball Fans...

Today I want to show you this cute Stamp from Oddball Art Stamps. Big Eye Winter Deer Girl with Snowflakes- Dusty Doe Eyes Image no 119.

Isn't she awesome for christmas cards... I coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers and enhanced it with Spectrum Noir pencils.

 The next collage shows my finished card.

I used Basic Grey Fidgy Pudding paper, Noor Designs Die, Buttons, Pearls and Handstitched all the borders.

This stamp comes with 3 cute little snowflakes. But I only used one of them on my card.

Well I hope your all having a HAPPY MONDAY and hope this week brings you lots of time to colour and play with your stamps and papers....
