Today I have a quick and easy tutorial on an art journal page, I am using my Dylusions journal, which has been begging to be used 😊.

1. I printed my images and was eager to color them so I went straight for it before I realized my camera was not filming  anyway, I used Copic markers in different shades . I then fussy cut them out and set aside.

2. I started with a blank spread. Since I was creating a simple background I chose not to prime my page first. And then added  a brick background using a stencil and distress ink.

3. Once I was happy with how the page looked I found a place for my images. I am using the Premium version of this issue along with previous Creepy Cute Chronicles images.  I love all the extra options that Lizzy includes with it.  And this time it even has a poem! I love it so much, hence why I decided on an art journal page this time.

4. OnceI glued the poem I added a bit of detail with an ink blender to make it fit the page. I then glued my images down where I wanted them. (I told you this was a simple page spread, lol 😊). As a final little detail I added “shadows” coming from my dog and little girl. Since I wanted them to be the focus of the page.

And that’s my art journal page for the day, hope you all enjoyed it and try to make your own. Also don’t forget to go to the Creepy Cute Chronicles Store to get any of the other images I used here.

For The Love Of Music!

Hello I am so happy to be on the Oddball Stamps blog today sharing this card I made using digital images CCC #115 Music Festival and Image #99 Creepy Cute Canadian Oddball Girl. I loved this image from the moment I saw it, because I absolutely love music the louder the better!

I basically created this card using my Karin Brushmarkers and some diluted watercolor for the background. To add some interest I gave this card some  peppery splatters and a few enamel dots. I am definitely feeling the good vibes with this music lovers card!

Smile

Hello today I am here on the Oddball blog sharing a little inspiration for today's #117 Creepy Cute Chronicles! It's Friday and we all know what that means, subscribe to CCC newsletter  and your getting a free download as a matter of fact there is a free download every Friday! Become a Premium member for only $15.00 a year and you get access to a whole library of images, anytime you like!  So the second week of August is National smile week! That's pretty cool, right? The theme here at Oddball this week is sweet smiling Skulls and while I don't have any smiling skulls, only two forlorn looking ones on the pattern paper on the panel!  I do have Sally and a very brave bat though! I know bats are nocturnal but this guy just wanted to come out and give everyone a big smile! The bat and the striped paper in the background are both included in the premium membership this month, Lizzy created such amazing papers to download and use right away on your projects!  The image I used here is #307 Silly Sally and she is available in the shop. I just love this image and the sentiments that come with her! All was coloured using alcohol markers.
Thanks for stopping buy I hope you have found some inspiration and keep smiling always! Rebeccawizardessofcards.com

Sweet Smiling Skulls

Hello!!

Today I bring you the tutorial of how I have made this card with the weekly free digital stamp of Oddball Art Stamps, CCC117 Sweet Smiling Skulls, which, if you are a Premium member, this week brings surprise: an exclusive collection of papers!!

The theme this month is "Dog Days", and the weekly theme "Sweet Smiling Skulls"

Taking all this, I have made this card with the images #304Beetlejuice Tribute the Ghost with the Most and #61 Creepy Cute Punk Mohawk Girl.

The sandwich is part of the freebie, and the base paper is one of the collection exclusive.

After coloring the stamps and cutting them out, I glued the two girls intertwining together.

I die cut a card stock with a grass border and inked it with I-Zink Menthe color ink. Then I splashed some water on it.

I applied a cloud stencil and I-Zink Mer du Sud blue ink to the card panel.

I finally glued everything together to get the scene I wanted.

As simple as that.

I hope you like it and inspire you to carry out your own projects.

I remind you that you have the hashtag #creepycutechronicles to share your projects and the discount code DTIRENE10 for your purchases in Oddball.

See you!

Today I have made a simple accordion card on which to display ATCs

Step One

I made the accordion by taking a 12 by 3 inches strip of card and scoring it at every 2 inches. I then folded this into a zigzag!

Step Two

I made 4 ATCs using dies from the Tonic ATC Collection die set, grey card and some Distress background. I printed the images, coloured them with Copics and cut them out.

Step Three

I added three ATCs to the folded card.

Step Four.

The fourth one was to go on the belly band.

Step Five.
I then added the finishing touches - a little faux stitching with a fineliner and a few more punched images.
